Fellowship in Oslo (Non-fiction literature)
NORLA has the pleasure of inviting foreign publishers and editors of non-ficiton literature to apply for our fellowship program, which this year will take place in Oslo from June 16 – 19.
Bergen International Literary Festival have invited festival directors from four different countries to attend this year`s festival. They will be joining the festival program as well as meeting Norwegian authors and industry players to discuss potential collaborations going forward. The invited directors are from Scotland, Nigeria, Ireland, USA/Frankrike. NORLA has contributed with a visitor`s grant through our new grant scheme for international delegates.

We are looking forward to meeting the delegates in Bergen on the 9th of February and telling them more about how NORLA contributes to bringing Norwegian literature out in the world!

NORLA administrates the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ scheme for travel grants for authors and lecturers who will visit institutions of higher learning abroad where instruction is given in the Norwegian language.
Publishers, agents and translators abroad and in Norway can apply to NORLA for subsidies for sample translations.
