Fellowship in Oslo (Non-fiction literature)
NORLA has the pleasure of inviting foreign publishers and editors of non-ficiton literature to apply for our fellowship program, which this year will take place in Oslo from June 16 – 19.
Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja will be travelling to Denmark on an official visit between 15th and 16th of June. During their stay they will be visiting the literature festival LiteratureXchange in Århus.

At LiteratureXchange, Their Majesties will attend a conversation between the authors Naja Marie Aidt from Denmark and Linn Ullmann from Norway. Other Norwegian authors present at the festival include Jostein Gaarder, Maja Lunde, Carl Frode Tiller og Kjersti Halvorsen. NORLA will also be there.

NORLA administrates the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ scheme for travel grants for authors and lecturers who will visit institutions of higher learning abroad where instruction is given in the Norwegian language.
Publishers, agents and translators abroad and in Norway can apply to NORLA for subsidies for sample translations.
