Fellowship in Oslo (Non-fiction literature)
NORLA has the pleasure of inviting foreign publishers and editors of non-ficiton literature to apply for our fellowship program, which this year will take place in Oslo from June 16 – 19.
From June 4th to 7th, NORLA’s Fellowship will be taking place, this time in Oslo – it has previously been held in Lillehammer.
16 international publishers from 14 countries, from Egypt in the east to Mexico in the west, are coming to Oslo to get acquainted with Norway and Norwegian literature. The program will include visits to publishing houses, author presentations, and meetings with Norwegian literary agents, in addition to social and cultural activities in a summer-clad Oslo.

NORLA administrates the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ scheme for travel grants for authors and lecturers who will visit institutions of higher learning abroad where instruction is given in the Norwegian language.
Publishers, agents and translators abroad and in Norway can apply to NORLA for subsidies for sample translations.
