Fellowship in Oslo (Non-fiction literature)
NORLA has the pleasure of inviting foreign publishers and editors of non-ficiton literature to apply for our fellowship program, which this year will take place in Oslo from June 16 – 19.
Translators of Norwegian literature are invited to apply for two-week stays at Hotell Bondeheimen, which is centrally located in downtown Oslo and close to many central cultural institutions.
Please note that the offer is only available for translators who translate directly from Norwegian, and who have translated at least two titles.

Application deadline for stay May 11-24 is March 16, 12:00 (CET)

NORLA administrates the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ scheme for travel grants for authors and lecturers who will visit institutions of higher learning abroad where instruction is given in the Norwegian language.
Publishers, agents and translators abroad and in Norway can apply to NORLA for subsidies for sample translations.
