Are you organising a literature festival or conference abroad? If so you can apply for a grant to invite Norwegian authors and lecturers from Norway to your events. This also applies to universities that teach Norwegian subjects.

Application deadlines: 15th of January and 3rd of August

Author and lecturer visits to institutions of higher learning in other countries

Staff at universities and institutions of higher learning abroad, where instruction is given in the Norwegian language, can apply for grants for author and lecturer visits. Visits by authors and lecturers from Norway are intended to serve as a supplement to the ordinary instruction.
Application deadlines: 2.3., 1.6. and 1.10.

International delegate program for literature festivals

Organizers of literary events in Norway, can apply for grants for literary experts visiting from abroad.
Application deadlines: February 6th, from March the 1st of each month

Travel grants for Norwegian authors

This scheme is for literary events abroad featuring authors from Norway.
